Gone are the days, when teaching was dwindled just into the “chalk and talk” method. The way, the world view the vistas of learning has undergone drastic changes. It’s been recognised that, like science, social science also requires, a specially equipped laboratory. It can facilitate the use of modern methods and techniques, in teaching. In Hi-Tech Public School, social science lab serves the purpose of a library, workshop, a stock- room, all combined into one. In short skills and ideas are inextricably intertwined here. The lab is well equipped with Charts and Graphs, Globes, Maps and Atlases, Models and reference books. The lab is growing steadily and constantly and is getting the exciting the hub of activity based on creativity.
Social Science Club and Lab aims to develop the personality of students, enhancement of Social interaction, improvement of creative thoughts. As a part of this we conduct seminars and discussions connecting to the current major incidents which help them to evaluate the changes in our society and to mould them as the future citizens of tomorrow.
